Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yosteps (the "Platform"), operated by Yosteps. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Purpose

Yosteps connects artists, music labels and agencies with TikTok dancers to create short-form dance content around music tracks, in exchange for payment in euros. Dancers upload their video to Yosteps, the artist reviews it, and once approved the dancer publishes it to their own TikTok account through TikTok's official Content Posting API.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, post content, or receive payments. Accounts are personal and must not be shared or transferred. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

3. Connecting your TikTok account

Dancers connect their TikTok account using TikTok Login Kit. By connecting, you authorize Yosteps to access the data and perform the actions described in our Privacy Policy and limited to the scopes you approve (profile information, public video list, and publishing a video on your behalf when you choose to). You may revoke this access at any time from your TikTok account settings (Settings > Security & permissions > Manage app permissions) or from your Yosteps profile.

4. Publishing to TikTok

Yosteps uses TikTok's official Content Posting API to publish a video to your TikTok account only when you explicitly initiate the post from Yosteps. You are solely responsible for the content you publish, including the caption, hashtags, music usage and compliance with TikTok's Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Yosteps does not post anything without your action.

5. Payments and balance

All prices on Yosteps are in euros. Artists, labels and agencies fund a prepaid balance used to send pitches and pay dancers for their approved and published videos. Balance top-ups are non-refundable except in the case of an automatic refund (declined or expired pitch, or a rejected submission). Dancers withdraw their earnings in euros via Stripe.

6. Music rights

As an artist, label or agency, you certify that you hold all the necessary rights (master and publishing) to authorize dancers to use your tracks within Yosteps campaigns, on TikTok and equivalent platforms. You indemnify Yosteps against any third-party claim arising from a lack of such rights.

7. Dancer obligations

The dancer agrees to: create original dance content using the agreed track; upload it to Yosteps within the agreed deadline; publish the approved video to TikTok through the Platform; and not delete the published video for at least 60 days. Content must comply with TikTok's Community Guidelines.

8. Moderation

Yosteps may moderate, reject or remove any content or account that does not comply with these Terms, with applicable law, or with TikTok's policies, without notice.

9. Relationship with TikTok

Yosteps uses TikTok APIs in accordance with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. Yosteps is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of its respective owner.

10. Limitation of liability

Yosteps acts as a technical intermediary. The Platform is not responsible for disputes between artists and dancers but may mediate. No performance guarantee (views, engagement, reach) is offered. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided "as is".

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or through the Platform. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
